Ok the other day I posted information that was not accurate-I said "oil prices climbed every single day since day one of the Iraq war peaking at an all time high of $145.00 per barrel in july of 2008" Fortunately "driver Dave " was kind enough to point out that was not exactly correct. As he pointed out it did not climb every single day-it climbed every single month until it reached the all time high of $145.00 per barrel in july of 2008.I almost fall over when someone says oil was cheap under W-Cheney.When Clinton left the white house oil was $18.25gal-Just before the 2008 elections oil was $145.00brl,hows that cheap? This is what happens when you take A potential five million barrels A day of cheap crude off the world market(Iraq).Driver Dave does have A point about deregulation of the banks playing A part in driving up commodities like oil.But you cant speculate that oil is going up if the world is A wash in cheap crude,so the supply must be cut(Iraq's huge oil supply was cut off the day we invaded along with Clintons oil for food program)The reason gas at the pumps was down from $4.25 A gal in july to around $2.00gal during and A little after the election is because of the stock market melt down,Most commodities were cut in half. When the market went back up so did the price of oil,and guess what Iraq,s oil was still off the market so there was no reason for it to come down--now when the price of oil is four times what oil is worth, its worth fracking and developing shale. Now China gets Iraq's oil under US military protection so China and US oil developing companies get exactly what they want--and we get left holding the bag. This whole disaster started 5 years before Obama........And Obama is not helping now.More drilling? I hope it works but so far the more they drill the more the price goes up because US oil development costs many times what other sources cost.

Oh? we've slowed up selling our excess inventory of Gasoline (DUE to US drivers conserving fuel)to places South of the border and still are paying thru the NOSE here in So. Cal. C'mon you useless senators investigate this travesty to the people who elected you~! ITS A CRIME~!! GET THIS TO THAT USELESS ATTORNEY GENERAL!

Anything coming out of the Obama Administration should be viewed with skepticism. The bottom line is that Obama has done nothing to control speculation/prices/exports, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, or improve our economy. His sole agenda is to cater to his tree hugging, stimulus sucking, union dominated, ultra liberal major contributors. As a result, we continue to be screwed at the pump, with our utilities, & with our taxes. Nothing will change as long as Obama is in office & controls the Senate. 2014 Elections are coming - stop this madness!!

We're down to the 3.45 range. About a dime less than last week and 20 cents less than 2 weeks ago.
