sky high fuel prices ALWAYS kill the American economy jmw1942 is cutting back(and so is everyone else that is not rich)spending has been flat for ten years because of this. You can sleep on somebodys couch if you loose your house but if you want to go to work or on vacation or A fun weekend, you will have to buy gas-this is what MURDERS our economy-I can see that many people here care about this,I dont understand why many more people dont make sky high fuel prices their top priority.

Doing my part by cutting driving by over 50% and only eating out twice a month. Only buy what you have to. I know government workers need not apply since they are well taken care of with our money.

But what does this mean at the pump?
More stability, maybe, but not lower prices.

Good news for who? Prices at the pump won't drop until someone makes the oil companies regulate the price for this country like some other countries do. The world market might then drop a little if prices were not so inflated?

Export taxes need to be placed on all crude oil, residual products as well as partially refined and fully refined industrial and consumer fuels that are destined for those places outside of North America. We do not need competition for our fuels and other precious resources.

Crude oil inventories "increase" by 0.0 Million barrels? How does what seems to be no change become an "increase"? and, more to the point, how does a 1.6% increase "surge"?

If gasoline inventories have increased because refineries are being utilized at a higher rate then we should see some decline in gas prices at the pump soon.

At least our prices here in Michigan have been going down. The month of June seen record highs of $4.29 and yesterday I paid $3.19. A big difference a few weeks make of price declines.
