What you are witnessing now is price rise and fall by zone-east west in the middle.Do you really think they cant supply us?they are exporting large quantities of oil. What they are doing is giving us the ilution of price change due to circumstances out of their control, please if it was more profitable for them to keep the price steady thats what they would be doing-when your company makes tens of billions in profits every quarter you can do whatever you want-If it was A supply and demand problem they would not be exporting. The supply has been high for A long time.

Dsl987 I thank you for engaging me directly. The point I am trying to make is that the market-s are completely manipulated, and yes I do expect oil to be around $30dollars A barrel.Oil companies in the united states are fracking oil out of depleted wells drilling of shore, producing oil from shale fields, drilling in 6o below zero ect.Affordable oil comes from wells in countries that have huge oceans of oil. They open A valve on A 6" main and fill up 10 tankers and they can do that for A hundred years. If the markets were left alone oil would be even cheaper than $30barrel-in order for american oil production to be even remotely profitable the big players have to be disqualified(Iraq war-demonization of Venezuala ect)Drilling and production would have never started up again in the US if the price was not sky high its the product of high prices not the answer to them-the proof of this is the price at your local station, and dont think more drilling will lower the price they will just export what they dont rob us on.

Feeling angry about how gas prices are escalating? So are we.

Production company seeks opinionated people to talk about GAS PRICES:

Are increasing fuel prices affecting you, your family, and way of life? Green Planet Productions (award winning documentary producers) are making a documentary about the high price of gasoline in America and what we can do to make it cheaper. We're looking for people to interview and follow to show how the high price of gas is putting the squeeze on your family's life.

This is unpaid. However, if your story is compelling, this is an opportunity to appear in a film alongside knowledgeable energy executives, celebrities, and other notable VIPs. This is a way to share your story with millions of viewers who care about this issue.

The film is directed and produced by multi-award winning filmmakers. Their Oscar-shortlisted movie, FUEL, won the Sundance Audience Award, was shown in the White House, and has been broadcast internationally. The current project is focused on the future of energy. We have shot all over the globe, and now we want to film YOU, an American family that's really affected by these issues.

Please contact us for more information and send a brief email explaining your story. Remember to include your phone number so we can call you to follow up. /

EIA should change their acronym to WUB(Worthless Useless Bureaucracy). Of course that would make it hard on the government since many agencies would have to change their name to that as well.

Fedupp: Do you not understand that oil is sold on the international market? Just what are "we" supposed to do about high AMERICAN oil prices? Tell the companies drilling for it that they have to sell it for $30? Drilling and production would stop overnight. It's obvious you know next to nothing about the oil markets.

So what? They just did A study this year they took A new look at Iraq and now are saying Iraq has more oil than anywhere on earth.Iraq oil is not in the middle of the ocean or in A wildlife reseve or in 60 below zero temps-remember Kuait and Iraq oil wells shooting 300 feet in the air?We cant compete with that, and why is China getting any of it-we are the ones who fought and died there.Ill tell you why China is not as stupid as we are and now they are gaining access to an ocean of high quality crude that used to be on the world market(before the war)this is one of the reasons American oil is high and will remain high until we do somthing abot it.

There are two main reasons we went to war with Iraq(and neither one had anything at all to do with terror-there never were any terroists in Iraq until W-Cheney put them there by disbanding the Iraqi army)#1 Saddam Hussein was sick of Bill Clintons oil for food program-he was getting ready to dump 5 million barrels of high quality crude oil A day on the world market(just think what that would have done to our favorite two texas oil mens bank accounts)#2 he made it clear he was going to switch to the economy of Iraq to euro W-Cheney were afraid more countries would follow his lead and they would loose more money. The terror in Iraq was really the economic terror of $10 A barrel crude oil that American oil men fear more than anything.

Better read up China France and A few others will be getting Iraqs oil and they didnt pump any significant amount of oil for almost ten years-Hugo Chavez(When he was alive)made it his business to make us pay through the nose(called us the devil of the world)All because of W-chenney-look at oil price charts crude oil instantly doubled the moment we went into Iraq and climbed from that to $147.00barrel until the market crashed-4-5 months after that back up again. Now the price has been high enough for 10 years to export whatever is left over from our production when the world price goes back down the pump price will go down.

Fedupp: What a load of drivel! Iraq is exporting as much oil as before the war, and the US remains Venezuela's biggest customer of oil.

The only way the price will go down(significantly)is if we can get back to where we were 10 years ago before the whole oil game was manipulated by our favorite two texas oil men.Do you really think its worth exporting American oil at $18barrel? The price was driven up by cutting supply-supply was cut by eliminating two enormous oil producing countries from the equation-Iraq was eliminated by war and lies as you know-Venezuala by just lies(please tell me who was ever afraid of Venezuala other than W-Cheney and only because of their oil market flooding ability)The price per barrel of oil is now high enough that other countries will buy our hard to get oil---and the price wont go down until that changes-blaming Obama for this is like blaming Clinton for the Cuban missile crisis.

I don't get to excited about these weekly reports, because even when we know that inventories are going up or down we have no control over the price of gas at the pump. But it has become obvious that by controlling refinery output and inventories that they have found the way to manipulate the price.

It generally has little actual effect on prices unless they are to the point everywhere is overflowing. Generally the speculators have much more control on the price manipulation for any reason with the suppliers somewhat less control. While we public using the fuel have the least control if any. despite major reductions in US consumption the prices stayed high. The only reason they dropped drastically was major World wide Recession.

IMPLIED DEMAND:
Gasoline supplied to end users amounted to 8.8 million barrels per day, or 193,000 barrels per day higher than the previous week. Compared to the same period last year, gasoline supplied is down 0.1% versus last year.
