Good news for motorists: if past history is any indication, June is a relatively quiet month at the gas pump. And perhaps the best news? The last two years we've even seen downward trends in gasoline prices for the month, and I believe this year we'll likely see similar relief in store.

Looking at the chart included, we've looked at June going back five years and have seen that lately June has featured relief at the pump. In 2012, the national average began the month at $3.62/gal and fell to $3.38/gal by the end of the month, a decline of 24c/gallon. 2011 was similar- starting at $3.79/gal and dropping to $3.57/gal, a decline of 22c/gal. This year, we're likely to see the national average begin June at $3.62 or so, and it may drop...

Gas in my opinion won't be cheap again until it's $2.50 are less a gallon. I'm definitely not holding my breath for that!!!!

June historical trend shows less volatility, lower prices? The price of fuel is so high at the pump, Junes historical trend of less volatility, lower prices means nothing. Gas prices Will Not return to where they should be. Five steps UP, One step Down!
The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! The price at the pump needs to go down to $2/gallon - *$3, *$3.50/gallon or *$4.00 is Not the new low!
**More Refineries are Not the Answer, Stop Exporting Fuel Is the Answer!
*If 'they' can export all that fuel, there are enough refineries already, there are NO need for More refineries OR Capacity!
Take care of the domestic fuel market first and above all else before exporting and selling fuel or natural gas to other countries!
Quit using refinery upgrades and maintenance as an excuse to raise the price of fuel at the pump! *Remember the article that said refineries were producing fuel during an upgrade or maintenance shut down?
Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!
