GASOLINE INVENTORIES:
Gasoline inventories increased by 2.6 million barrels to 217.7 million barrels. At 217.7 million barrels, inventories are up 13.4 million barrels, or 6.5% more than last year. Here's how individual regions and their gasoline inventory fared last week: East Coast (+1.8mb); Midwest...

and always an excuse to shut a refinery down if the prices fall too fast or stay too low for too long, right?

SO WITH ALL THAT INVENTORY WHY IS IT OK FOR THEM TO RAISE THE PRICES TO OVER $4.00 A GALLON. THEIR GAME PLAN IS TO KEEP ON GOUGING THE PUBLIC, NO MATTER WHAT. OH YEAH, HERE COMES ANOTHER HOLIDAY...OR ITS FAMILY VACATION TIME...LETS 'EMPTY' THE PUBLIC'S POCKETS AND KEEP FILLING THEIR OWN.

having only one midgrade gas would save a nickel a gallon, like 89 octane.

When are the knuckleheads going to get the refineries together? They have record profits so they have the money.

Is this supposed to justify the increase in gas prices coming to the Midwest and West Coast?

It's always the same, every year. It Doesn't make any difference. Gas goes up then Milk goes up, then food, nothing different.... then come end of summer prices go down again, they've gouged from the travelers, and making everyone else pay too. Ugh... no vacation again this year. Look at diesel, it's a bi-product and look the price.

We must be exporting a lot of crude! That would be an interesting stat to include in this report.

We are supposed to have an abundant supply of oil and this idiot report means absolutely nothing as pump prices will still be sky high.

Gasoline will likely go much higher in California since we have the cap-and-trade law in effect. Our gasoline tax will also go up 3.5 cents per gallon on July 1. Thank the liberals you vote for in California.

There is an enormous glut in supply and no reason for prices to be at $3.45 per gallon.

With more inventories, prices should drop, right? That is supply and demand. Of course it only works when it is convenient for the gas companies to raise prices.

Gasoline inventories grow, except in Midwest and West Coast and fuel prices at the pump are still too high and Big Oil's profits continue to rise at our expense.
Crude oil inventories decreased, Gasoline inventories increased, Distillate inventories increased, Refinery utilization increased 1.0% from last week, Total US oil stocks are up 2.6% over last year and there are still high fuel prices at the pump! The fuel prices at the pump should be much lower for 'coming out of the closet' Sneeker666 'spending gone wild' very bad 'in the crapper' socialist economy recover a little bit more! But, that's not going to happen!
Big Oil and Big Gas sells fuel and natural gas on the world market for higher prices. 'Coming out of the closet' Sneeker666 lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the jobs are Not here. Sneeker666 economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continue to be down!
No Thanks to the Mindless Pinhead Sheep that voted this bozo 'Sneeker666' back in office. Can't wait for Sneeker666 to fade away like it was an eight year nightmare!
The sooner, the better! GRRRrrrrrrrr!
The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! The price at the pump needs to go down to $2/gallon - *$3, *$3.50/gallon or *$4.00 is Not the new low!
More Refineries are Not the answer, Stop exporting fuel is!
*If 'they' can export all that fuel, there are enough refineries already, there is no need for more!
Take care of the domestic fuel market first and above all else before exporting and selling fuel or natural gas to other countries!
Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!
