If that headline makes your blood boil, brace yourself. It gets worse...

Apparently, they don't view themselves as a danger: Almost 20 percent of those who drink and drive say it improves their driving, and that's the opinion held by 34% of those who drive under the influence of marijuana.

USA TODAY reports these findings from a new survey of 1,708 11th- and 12th-graders by SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and insurer Liberty Mutual.

Of course, this news is alarming but at the same time let's separate the words from the actions. Do we really believe that today's teens are that much different from yesterday's?

Kids think they're immortal and invincible, that's human nature. Time and...

That why Drivers Ed. needs stopped in schools. Too many kids that don't know how to drive to start with are on the road. Of course most parents that signs for Ed. or a kid under 18 to get a license don't realize they are taking the responsibly in the event that kid has an accident and injuries someone the parents can lose everything.

It's no wonder our insurance premiums continue to raise. It's not fair to make us all suffer because of the poor habits of young drivers. Raise the premiums on new young drivers and leave the rest of us mature drivers alone.

This is a personal choice, and a personal responsibility ... NO ONE SHOULD DRIVE that is under the under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs along with any other mind-altering substance. Every
driver needs to take their driving privilege seriously and stay off the
road while they are choosing to do any of the above substances. GOD BLESS THE ROADS OF AMERICA & ALL CREATION!

Drinking improves driving? Is their sober driving really that bad? Only teens could come up with something this silly.

It usually takes their first accident for them to realize that they are not infallible. And that's only if they survive.
