For those of you who pay attention to your inbox, this may not be new news. However, if you're like me and sometimes forget to check your GasBuddy messages, you may have missed it.

A little over a week ago GasBuddy launched a new version of its site for use on mobile phones. We've tried to make it even easier to report gasoline prices on the go or check the latest prices as well. The new version for mobile phones can be found by going to http://m.yourcitygasprices.com. The new version aims to make it much easier than other mobile versions to get what you need.

Keep in mind there is an available iPhone application as well. We continue to work on multiple platforms so that all of you can have the best experience on your mobile...

It would be even nicer if we could reply to forum messages on the mobile version, but it looks just like the mobile app, so nothing gained.

I still have the old fashioned rinky-dink style mobile phone because I can NOT to buy one of those nice expensive IPhones. Mine cost me $20 & has a camera & web access & texts & I can put on any ring tone I want too, but I am not lucky enough to be able to use apps, so my Gas Buddy searches are done the old fashioned way...by car!

>> i cancelled the text ability on my phone because my carrier charges WAY to much for it !! <<

Text Message service is not used for the mobile site. It uses only Internet or web browsing service. On my T-Mobile phone, I can add unlimited web browsing for only $10.00 per month. I can also use that service to check my credit card, bank, and 401k balances, as well as other web browsing, like weather, etc.

That sounds good but you should pull to the side of the road to report the gas price. Not on the phone and driving at the same time.

It would be good if more would post pump prices as well as highway conditions and traffic on the roads.

I'd rather see you work on something to get more people to post more gas prices and give more road conditions as summer/vacation driving approaches.

Finding the cheaper gas on a mobile device is nice, but it is usually not worth the gas you use to travel to find 2, 3 or 4 cent cheaper gas (unless it is on your way).
