Ford said U.S. sales for its main brand will surpass 2.4M vehicles this year, as record demand for its Fusion sedan and hybrid models helps extend a lead over Toyota

The Ford marque entered December ahead of Toyota by 388,825 cars and light trucks, heading for its fourth straight year as the top-selling U.S. auto brand. In 2012’s full-year tally, the margin was 322,521

The 2nd-largest U.S. automaker would flourish by narrowing its focus. sold off the Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Volvo luxury lines, shuttered Mercury and pushed the namesake brand to complement its strengths in pickups and sport-utility vehicles with more competitive cars

Thanks to the Oblamer bailout of the stimulus sucking, union dominated Big Three, working class taxpayers continue to pay for any success by Ford, Govt Motors, & Chrysler. After the bailout, I vowed never to buy a vehicle from the Big Three & intend to keep that promise. Stop this madness in Nov 2014!

I would love to see it happen as they deserve it especially since they were the only USA car manufacturer to get taxpayer help and have us lose even more money like GM did because of their stock value dropping and they have no plans of giving back the money given to them.
