Wholesale gasoline fell 5.4 cents to $2.732 a gallon.

— Natural gas futures rose 7.1 cents to $4.263 per 1,000 cubic feet.
The price of oil dropped 2 percent Thursday on expectations of higher global supplies and the impact of a strengthening dollar.

U.S. benchmark oil for February delivery was down $2.07 to $96.35 in midday trading in New York. Markets were closed Wednesday for New Year's Day.

Brent crude, a benchmark used to price international crude used by many U.S. refineries, was down $1.83 to $108.77 per barrel.

U.S. oil was lower for the third straight day after closing above $100 per barrel Friday for the first time since October. The price had been rising on growing consumption in the U.S. as the economy improves.

WTI at 100$ a barrel was way too high to begin with. The most recent speculators' excuses for the rise in the price of WTI was unrest in South Sudan. WHAT DOES WTI CRUDE HAVE TO DO WITH SOUTH SUDAN? WTI is produced "HERE". We don't ship WTI "TO" the Middle East or "THROUGH" the Middle East.

I am sick and tired of our self-serving government letting this 10 year market price manipulation continue but our politicians would rather get six figure handouts from big oil companies and speculators who are overjoyed that they can rake in huge profits at our expense selling us their vastly overpriced gasoline.

But THAT'S reality, folks.

But I still do NOT see any lower prices at the pump. Prices in Northwest part of San Antonio staying the same.

Gasoline currently DOWN 9.2 cents a gallon and Oil is DOWN $2.91 a barrel.

FALL BABY FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! May they all lose their GREEDY shirts for the NEW YEAR

The FEDS are today's news. The economy is "so good" (lol) they MAY taper the stimulus money(free money-worthless) some more! This so-called "may happen" so the US dollar has strengthened which in turn causes Oil to decline. Libya was Tuesday's news

So remind me again what the price breakdown of a gallon of gas is? I smell something other than funny math in the current gas prices.
