The nuclear deal struck by Iran and six world powers will put more rubber on the road in the Islamic Republic.

The country's major carmakers stand ready to start receiving parts again from French firms PSA Peugeot Citroen and Renault when the sanctions ease. That could see Iran's stalled car production again take off, proving a boon to local automakers and potentially draw in more foreign investment from other manufacturers hoping to break into the market.

The Iran nuclear deal is a real sh.t deal, the only thing that is happening is that Iran has a little economic boost.
And that will stop them to work on their nuclear arsenal??
Give me a break..!

Never has been many American car in Iran, was a few that the GI brought over and sold before going back to the states. In the late sixties Iran used to assemble a Pakan which was modeled after the brutish Hillman and was the car of choice due to being cheaper than the European models.

The increased world production is good for everyone. This was originally a ploy for BO to get US involved in another Middle East war, drive the cost of prices up, add more trouble to our middle class, etc.
