The ethanol boom has come at a far higher price than the US government is willing to admit. Millions of acres of conservation land has been destroyed—converted into corn fields.

Why haven't all the "green" groups protested the destruction of our environment by the use of ethanol in our fuels? This is such a significant issue that all of the environmentalists should be carrying signs and holding rallies to eliminate ethanol in our fuels. Since virtually none of them appear to be doing this might we think that perhaps they are being paid to ignore the damage ethanol is doing? I wonder if all of those people are really as passionate as they say about our planet, or is there another agenda being followed here?

Repeated info from a previous report.

Lots of exageration

Lots of MISSLEADING info

AND,,, "Dr" Mercola.com is SELLING products on his website

(I don't know how Etanol affects engines, but it is NOT "destroying land")

There are nearly a billion people in the world that are starving or do no have adequate supply of food. Instead of adding it to our fuel, why not feed the hungry? Ethanol is not good for most engines anyway.

The farm lobbies were behind this as much as anyone.

And before you go celebrating Mercola, look at the rest of his site and see what he has to say.
