Toyota Motor Corp. sold 4.91 million cars and trucks around the world for the January-June period, down 1.2 percent from the previous year, according to numbers it released Friday. Can't say GM has made a luxury convertible that wasn't outrageously priced in years.

Only thing that Toyota is good at is recalls.

Gm will be #1 again if not this year it will be next year Just look at the 2014 Impala with a ranking of 95 out of 100 it should be the car of the year.

I have owned Honda's for the last couple of decades. Both Honda and Toyota have factories in Canada and the USA.

If you buy them you are buying Canadian and American.

Domestic automakers such as GM and Ford are recapturing market share but if workmanship proves inferior, they will lose it just as quickly.

Up and down. GM will be up again. Profitability is what matters, not quantity.
