U.S. crude-oil futures finished higher Thursday, achieving a fourth up session in a row after a set of encouraging economic reports. But natural-gas futures slid 4.3% after a weekly report showed a larger-than-expected increase in U.S. natural-gas inventories. Crude for August delivery rose $1.55, or 1.6%, to settle at $97.05 a barrel. U.S. stocks also scored solid gains. Early Thursday, the Commerce Department said consumer spending grew 0.3% in May, matching forecasts, while personal incomes increased a better-than-expected 0.5%. Initial weekly jobless claims declined to 346,000, roughly in line with expectations for 345,000 claims. your not going to beat the price of gas.........even if you switched to Natural Gas......once it catches on & the demand gets there, the price of Natural Gas will get just as high as gas prices..... GREED sets in & then you'll have 2 to worry about.......poor taxpayer is the loser.......

Again, this is all speculation. The supply of oil and gasoline is up. Demand is down.

Another article talks of gas prices going down through much of the country. If oil is trending, that lowering won't last long.
