Ford hinted at its plan to change MyFord Touch today in a press release touting improvements in the system's quality.

Ford's F-series pickup models already include the latest MyFord Touch system with more redundant knobs and buttons.

As with all interfaces, newer isn't always better (e.g., Windows 8). We drivers need something we can feel quickly.

The control panel in the article looks very clunky. On my Ford I have two knobs for the radio, and controls on the steering wheel, which don't require me to look at them while driving.

Other than mapping software updates being expensive; I'm pleased with my system.

Touch screens for everything for the driver is incredibly short sighted. When was the last time you looked at your turn signal stalk or your parking brake? Levers and knobs are intuitive and don't require eyesight to manipulate. Just because the climate control and stereo/nav system look clean it doesn't amount to improvement.

Traditional knobs worked, so there was no reason to change them; don't fix something that was never broke!

How about making Fusions so you don't bang your head getting in.There are too many buttons to be pushed turned etc. That's starting to creep in to a lot of cars.
