Spoken like a true conservative. CAFE standards won't reduce our dependence on foreign oil? Oil production has increased every year of the Obama Administration after declining every year, for eight years, under the previous administration.

Obama will never approve the Pipeline as long as he is in office & controls the Senate. His agenda is very clear: cater to his tree hugging, stimulus sucking, union dominated major contributors. His Administration has done nothing to control oil speculation, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, or improve our economy. 2014 Elections are coming!!

The pipeline will not improve or diminish climate change. Let's get on with it by pipeline, then if not then by rail and then 18 wheelers.

Foot dragging is the hallmark nowadays of politicians; wait long enough and both pro & con factions will get fed up. Unfortunately there are consequences to this type of inactivity. Politicians ultimately loose the respect of both sides of the issues who move on to something else. They can't please both sides, but they can also demotivate both and be subsequently shunned on any other issues.
