Imagine that> kind of like when I let a silent one out thinking no one would notice. Oil and GAS spreads in ways not always first noticed.

Mission is NOT accomplished
Nationalize the oil in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia,
Oil companies in America
Leave Qatar alone
Then the mission will be accomplished

Article states the estimate is up to 7.4 billion barrels now. We use (waste) about 7 billion barrels a year here in the USA. We can not drill our way to energy independence. We MUST drastically reduce consumption.

IMHO Best article information is in the following words: The new report shows the two formations also contain an estimated 6.7 trillion cubic feet of undiscovered, natural gas. That's three times more than the 2008 estimate. USGS says the increase is primarily a result of adding the Three Forks formation to the Bakken. Technical advances in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing now make it possible to extract oil previously thought to be unrecoverable. Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., said in a statement that the study was great news for North Dakota and the nation. Hoeven requested the new USGS study more than two years ago, he said, to generate a long-term outlook for production potential and needed government investment in the region's infrastructure.

This is not really news as it was to extend under 4 or 5 states as I recall the original assessment.
