Good that China leadership is coming to the conclusion that things cannot go on as they have been. A 'directed economy'--no matter what outsiders think of it--may be the only way to quickly tackle a problem this large. (and of their creating by the same leadership)

China needs to work on its pollution problem. And they should dispose of their antique evil Communist government!

The Chinese don't care about CO2 reduction.

They definitely need cleaner energy sources over there. I just read an article saying that only about 1/3 of the smog was due to vehicle emissions.

All energy sources are cleaner and cheaper (overall) than coal.

This is the way to go. Unfortunately, the Party of NO, (Republicans), has worked hard to block alternative energy. This is because they are funded by coal and oil. So, once again, China is taking the lead.

You should give a dam about China as they are one of the main causes for the demand in oil.

They need to reduce the choking cloud. I bet they get on renewables in a bigger way than us.

As we will see, coal will be a thing from the past in the U.S. as natural gas will be taking over diesel fuel As fracking and drilling will make the U.S. the biggest energy producer of the world....happening soon!

If it works for China, shouldn't it work in other countries (U.S.)?
