I wonder how the libs feel about this??? Where's the outrage from the unions about manufacturing jobs lost??? Where's the outrage from the "occupiers" about their government outsourcing jobs to China??? Where's the outrage from the lib left about human rights abuses in China??? Where's the outrage from the environmental wackos about the increased Chinese pollution from manufacturing the bridge sections??? I'll tell you why the squawking libs are silent...because this is all being done under their watch and one, the unions don't care about jobs, just power. The phony "occupiers" don't care because that was an election year ploy. Human rights is a smoke screen issue to batter our military or any conservative in office but isn't a problem when their people are in power. And finally the environmental wackos stay silent when the environmental damage is "not in my backyard". As long as their people are in power and they get to sip coffee demanding others pay taxes so they can proudly point to "their" new architecturally significant trophy, they are happy as clams at high tide. Elitist hippocrites, each and every one of them.

Way to go Cali, show you don't care about the nation as a whole while providing jobs and money to a country that wishes to dominate us.

“Five out of the 10 largest contractors in the world are now Chinese contractors.” The unions can cry all they want, but this is one result of pricing ourselves out of the market.

That ought to make struggling American businesses feel good. Where is their head at? Export more money to China. Stupid policy.

Can we outsource all professional politicians? The ones we have now definitely cost to much, do not listen to the people they represent and are the biggest criminals on the planet.

"It’s unfortunate that the economics are such that we find it difficult, we in the United States, find it difficult to compete on big projects like this worldwide. But then on the other hand as a taxpayer, I want the government to be thrifty with my dollars.” California officials have estimated that they’ll save at least $400 million by relying on low-wage Chinese labor."
