There's nothing wrong with a little CO2, @TheGoatWhisperer. However, we are nowhere near "a little CO2" at this point.
Basically, we've released enough CO2 into the atmosphere that it would be like lighting all of the Earth's trees on fire and letting it burn for a century. What do you think THAT would do to the atmosphere?

The "tapped out wells" were never tapped out, @ican2step. It just cost too much money to get the last drops of oil out of the ground. Now, fracking is letting Big Oil squeeze the ground for every last drop.
Too bad the ground is too contaminated to use after Big Oil is done with it.
