Toyota Motor Corp will recall 1.1 million cars globally for two separate defects, including 752,000 Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles in the United States to fix airbags that could be deployed inadvertently, the automaker said on Wednesday.

The problem has caused minor injuries in 18 cases that have been reported, as well as two accidents outside of Japan.

Wonder if they tried to blame that on the driver as well...just as they did for the unintended acceleration. Hope they learn their lesson some time soon!

All these vehicle recalls doesn't seem to hurt Toyota's brand -- they are still considered as the top vehicle manufacturer.
