Move on, the 21st century is here to stay, plan accordingly and find the lowest cost, lowest impact solutions, which is what the article advocates.

However, it is interesting to learn how the liberal mind works. A liberal must learn how to think with the "herd" and this article is critical of that "liberal group think." To prove they are a good liberals, Liberals must march around Washington DC and protest a friendly nation - Canada - working with USA to provide more energy in the most safe and clean way. The liberal mind never thinks that it would be better to work to clean up the "dirtier" tar sand oil being shipped in across Gulf of Mexico from Socialist Hugo Chavez's Venezuela where Chavez fired 20,000 skilled oil workers and replaced them with unskilled political hacks. But since the departing Hugo Chavez is a fellow Socialist, the liberal mind cannot think that he is a much dirtier polluter or money grabbing boss that steals money from maintenance and kills hundreds in oil refineries explosions. No - liberal group think says protest America's friend and mourn Hugo Chavez. Liberal think "Canada Bad" / "Venezuela Good."

Out of his 2100+ word inaugural speech, he mentioned the word deficit only ONCE, unemployment ZERO, jobs ZERO, and national debt ZERO times. Obviously, these matters are not as important as future Solydras.

If oil prices moderate, China may use oil to fire their electric plants instead of coal.....Why does no one mention that???

But what the heck the environmentalists will suck up all that bad air with their heavy breathing.
