The nation's largest motor club says use of the fuel blend, E15, could void car warranties on most cars. More corrosive than traditional gasoline, some studies show E15 may accelerate wear and tear on engines and components.

Federal agencies are pushing E15 as one component of a broader energy policy that promotes alternative fuels as a way to wean the country away from its reliance on foreign oil. The fiscal cliff bills extends a tax credit that makes it easier for gas stations to install E15 pumps and storage tanks. Experts say they think this will accelerate the arrival of E15 across the nation.

ULS Diesel was mandated, Bot only cars, Newer than 2007 could tolerate the lack of lubrication to the injector pumps.My 2003 VW needed A $2000 Injection pump replaced. The $600 core allowance on the old pump covered the labor. E15 will cause similar repair problems for gasoline cars not rated for Flex Fuel.I know of only one gas station that sells E85 Flexfuel. The Obama regime may intend to Impoverish "wealthy" Americans, by destroying our cars, until EVERYONE is on food stamps!

It sounds like they want older autos and trucks too put away and have the oweners/drivers invest in something new, like those with high efficientcy. And if your neighborhood station puts in a single hose E15 blender pump, you'll be required to buy at least four gallons to even out the blend.
