I apologize! Didn't mean to send you running to the dictionary for a very common word! But it's sure good to see I'm keeping you interested in the truth! Because the truth shall set you free!

LMAO! I am absolutely impressed with your use of the word anthropogenic. It might be to your benefit to define it for those few who think they agree with you, as it is a long and ponderous polysyllabic.
The 'Liberal Hypocrisy' you refer to actually is typically that WE are in some way faking and not acting upon what WE believe. Let me assure you that is not the case. You wish!
Your standard cliche's have become overused statements. As a result, they reduce the readers’ interest, make your text seem redundant, and cause the writer to appear amateurish Think outside the box for once!

Not only did these corporation fund much of the research (most likely with provisions that publication would have to be first authorized by the industry which would only publish results that look beneficial to their industry), but these corporations also buy the politicians that create the laws.

Industry-funded studies should clearly be identified as such.

Typical liberal left wingnut article. Oh, I forgot, it is the Guardian!!
Scientists have their own believes and biases. That's why there are 2 sides to every story. But all academic studies and publications are subject to peer review. One can argue about the validity of the data and conclusions regardless of who pay for the study.

fracking has been used for 50 years now, only the eco-nonsense movement has a problem with this proven safe method

Not a surprise. And do you really don't think that environmental groups haven't paid for their own studies?

Not shocking in the least. Academic studies have to be paid for by someone and the school usually looks to industry to sponsor the research. Been happening for decades.

Many studies could be considered biased if you just looked at who paid for the research. It is usually some big industry.

One would think that the integrity of a scientific study would be more inclined to be toward the actual facts, rather than the pay scale being offered. Unfortunately, the scientific community is much like any other profession and can be (at times) bought and sold as a commodity on the open market. While ethics should play a large part in the outcome, does it?

no surprise here......
the ADA wants to sell toothpaste , fluoride and dental products....
the frackers want to pollute youir water and sell their crud methane....
each buys studies to prove their point....
don't invest in something that makes your broker money.. invest in something that makes YOU money.

"Vidic believes that fracking is safe and says that there are only two scientifically documented incidents where underground water was contaminated." Sure, let's just all ignore the routine daily conversion of billions of gallons of fresh drinking water used for fracking into undrinkable water. Energy independence would be great but we still need water to drink.
