Minutes from the meeting show that Xactware Solutions Inc., which provides software for the insurance industry, asked for the name change so that the road would fit with its "international corporate image."

WOW! And, what the flip has this got to do with fuel expenditures? People will now be able to drive on that street without compromising their sainthood? They'll no longer have to take the long way in order to preserve it, therefore saving gas? Maybe I missed something in the article.

"Lehi, with a population of about 48,000 people, is named after a prophet in the Book of Mormon and is the former home of the Brown family that stars in the reality TV series, "Sister Wives." Kody Brown moved his wives and 16 children from Lehi to the Las Vegas area in January 2011 after Utah authorities began a bigamy investigation." 30 miles from SLC but in a time zone of its own. Now we all know Lehi, but it certainly will not improve Xactware's business reputation now with its 15 minutes of fame or is that infamy? Thanks nraacct, you finally hit on a real 'chuckles' item.

Not much to do with oil or gas - unless we think of the human variety (chuckle). But look at the reaction it's garnered! You learn something new every day, too. I never knew about the "sexual connotation" before I read this and while I'm straight as a pin, I'm far from being innocent regarding sexual terminology. What the name change means is that Political Correctness has finally leaped over its own cliff. This is utter nonsense. I taught in a school named Morning Glory P.S. and, at no time, did anyone ever make this sort of connection. The school was named Morning Glory due to the profusion of MG plants on and around the building site. Awww...does this mean Pete's Donuts will now have to change the name of one of its most popular doughnuts? Normally, I'd think it could only happen in California, but Utah seems to be getting pretty strange lately. And stuff like this is making Canadian PC (horribly prevalent in our society) look somewhat redneckish by comparison. Good grief!
