Down again in Nor Calif, only $.20 higher than the national avg. Gotta love those that talk about state lines, not likely when it is hundreds of miles away from most in CA. GB does a great job of making us aware of price shifts in the areas we drive, thanks to all the posters.

I have filled up for under $3 a few times now (using Wal Marts $0.10 off/gallon), although I have seen a few that are < $3 normal price the past few days.

When the national news media covers gasoline prices like this, it should put pressure on high priced gasoline states to lower their prices. Hard to justify forcing customers to pay twenty cents more a gallon than at those stations across the state line.

New Jersey has gas down to $2.97.
Prices in the bargain stations are down 20 cents in the last week.

Could lower gas taxes be part of the reason those states have lower gas prices? Duh!

Our monthly average gas price is still higher than last year, which set an all-time high last year, and we will reach another infamous milestone for 2012, the highest annual average gas price ever, breaking last year's record, despite the fact that our demand for gasoline is at an 11 year low. This is so outrageous and our liar in chief and our 110 workday per year Congress and Senate refuse to regulate our very greedy speculators
Next year you can all count on new all-time high gas prices, and we can conserve all we want, the gas prices will keep going up, up, and UP.

Regular unleaded gas has now dropped 10 cents in a month and it's expected to drop another 12-20 cents by Christmas. Some areas could see $3 a gallon gas. NBC’s Tom Costello reports.
