Given the high cost of heating oil and the relatively low cost of NG, this looks like a good investment.

Not so sure government should be bank rolling this project; but someone needs to do it.

Alaska governor announces plan to finance small LNG project on North Slope. Should state or federal government be doing this, leave this kind of development to private enterprise instead? The Alaskan oil and gas fields are just beginning to die out, suck out as much of it out of the ground before it's to late. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!

Government, both state and federal, have to be involved in these type of projects. Private industry is reluctant to invest in long term research & developement, because share holders demand instant profit and the oil and gas industry certainly will not jeopardize their billions of profit
