1 liter? Sounds like a great size for a garden tractor.

As long as it's not completely gutless, no big deal.

Impressive numbers for an engine this size. Once, again "Ford has a better idea."

If the engine is anything like the Sprint engine (Suzuki's 1 liter, 3-cylinder engine), it could have pep and still get over 50 mpg. Ours got 54 mpg in real-world driving, until the dealer couldn't get parts to repair it.

Putting in more and/or different gears would bring up the gas milage. Simple and not as costly in most cases.

The engine will produce up to 123 horsepower and 148 foot-pounds of torque, that is much than you will ever need..

Geo used to have a 3 cylinder engine a few years ago that wouldn't let the car get out of it's own way. Why don't they just try putting in push pedals instead.

The engine will produce up to 123 horsepower and 148 foot-pounds of torque, more power than the 2012 Fiesta gets from its 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine.
