Gas prices dropped seven cents per gallon over the past two weeks, according to the Lundberg Survey report of fuel prices in the contiguous United States. The survey was released on Sun., Nov. 19, 2012. The survey showed that the average price of a gallon of regular gas has dropped to $3.47. Super will run you $3.65 per gallon, and premium costs $3.78. Those with diesel engines will pay an average of $4.04 per gallon.
For the least expensive gasoline in the contiguous United States, you will have to travel to Memphis, Tenn. where a gallon of regular unleaded has dropped to $3.04.
