The survey was released on Sun., Nov. 19, 2012. The survey showed that the average price of a gallon of regular gas has dropped to $3.47. Super will run you $3.65 per gallon, and premium costs $3.78. Those with diesel engines will pay an average of $4.04 per gallon.

Long Island has the most expensive gas prices per gallon where drivers must pay $4.18 at the pump, according to The Christian Science Monitor.
