Abundant fuel should be a good news across the board.

Time for all Americans to switch their focus from being subjected to high petroleum prices to investing in and taking advantage of them. Something we all should have been doing for many years ;)

The vast increase in the domestic production of crude oil and natural gas over the last five years coupled with the projections of increasing future crude oil and natural gas production kind of makes one want to put a few dollars into pipeline and railroad oriented mutual funds or ETFs does it not.

To bad it cannot be a boon to the average American who continues to be gouged by $2.00 a gallon even with falling gas prices.

Remember we need more refineries soon as well. No new refineries in 35 years is not good.

Of course, there are enough middle men that by the time we pump it in our vehicles we'll never see any savings.

While it may be a boon to the railroads to be hauling oil products, there is some question about the safety of one of the most widely used tank cars.

The U.S. should impose higher stockpile reserves before the glut is shipped overseas.

An even bigger boost to the politicians who have now rigged things so nobody can do anything productive without greasing their palms, either directly or indirectly.

so let's build refineries ON THE TRAJECTORY between the oilf fields and the population centers where it will be used.
not on the coastline where it will be exported.

From the article: "David Fann, who runs TorreyCove Capital Partners, a San Diego, California, private equity consulting firm, put the blame for a recent de-emphasis of clean tech squarely on fracking.
"Clean technology only works when people expect that we are going to be constrained on the energy side," he said. "The idea now that we have 100 years' supply of natural fuel sources is in many ways a game-changer in how we are going to think about the energy industry."
"The urgency to adopt clean tech has changed," he added. "Its costs relative to other sources make it harder for us to adopt."
=========================================================
Having the U.S. assume leadership of energy production and regain the manufacturing base that made us an economic power would restore the prosperity of America. And when energy production is unfettered, "green" technology will fall by the wayside, because it just cannot compete without the fearmongering of the radical MSM and the government subsidies associated therefrom. With the stealing of the Presidency and re-election of BO, the smart money would bet on the EPA ruining the "fracking" industry.

Train and tank truck traffic will boom and get hectic for a while! That will go bust as soon as the new pipes start moving the oil.
Then what?
