Fuel prices are going down, but we probably won't see $2.00/gallon gas again. Even with new discoveries, the oil companies want to keep prices as high as possible to offset exploration and spill-cleanup costs. Opec also can slow output to drive up prices.

Fuel prices will never go down again in CA, we won't see gas goes below $2.00/gallon again either. Corporate greeds and other things will keep the prices way above $2.00/gallon.

Don't think it will go down to $2.00 again. Below $3.00 maybe.

. With more stations piling on at $2.99 today hopefully we may see some start breakingout from the pack and go on down lower in the $2's...

. Still $2.99... but we rather aggressively only go to lowest priced stations around here... high priced stations folding up...

I do not think we will see $2.00 again until it is not the primary fuel. We may see slightly under $3.00 for a short period, but $3 is here to stay.

If the gas taxes are $2 or more a gallon, why are we upset with the oil co.'s?

Not going to happen. Oil companies are in it for the money. They will limit oil production to keep prices up. Market manipulation keeps them making big profits.

Don't mention past prices. It was 48 cents per liter in Canada in 1997. Could it be 48 cents /liter again? No way!!!
