What tank, whose tank did someone say that they needed a tank? Next time you write a topic be give a little better explanation, it usually starts a conversation better.

Military tanks? I think they're pretty cool, but probably expensive.

It costs too much to fill up a tank, so when I need a new vehicle, I will still buy a new car instead of a new tank.

Does what make sense? All you've written is a topic name "new tanks costs", which doesn't say what type of tanks you're talking about, such as underground gas station fuel tanks, refinery storage tanks, or gas tanks for cars, and you're not saying what type of costs you're asking about. And, you ask "does it really make sense?" Does it make sense that new tanks cost? Or are you asking something else? If you're asking if new tanks cost, well, it's probably going to cost something as few people will give your or install new tanks for nothing. Again, or are you asking something else?

And, and it's just a suggestion, as you're a long time Gas Buddy member, nearly two years on the website, you've averaged about a gas price post every two weeks, the points total of which many Gas Buddy members earn in about a week and a half. It might help your fellow Long Island Gas Buddy members if you posted gas prices just a little more frequently in order to help your fellow members be more knowledgeable shoppers. But that's just a suggestion, that's all.
