T. Boone Pickens on current events. Specifically, Syria...

"We're dependent on foreign oil and OPEC has it, so keeping peace in the Middle East has been our top foreign policy priority for over 30 years. Over the last decade alone we spent more than $4 trillion and lost thousands of American men and women on military missions to protect Middle East oil.

The cost is just too much."

How about american made ethanol? Sounds great to me. And to Mr. Pickens... T. Boone, while stumping for natural gas, has also said... "I'm for any fuel that's American"

Ethanol is a very good fuel.
Can`t blame ethanol for oil spills either.
Just think about all the military cost to taxpayers in the USA and the people killed and injured protecting oil interest.
Ethanol did not fund terrorist attacks oil did.

Q: How do I list stations that are out of gasoline? Show Answer Link to This
A: This option is currently unavailable. We hope to add this feature in the near future. In the meantime, please do not post stations that are out of fuel. This information should currently be listed in the local forums only. Thank you for your cooperation.

Ethanol can help the foreign conflict issue, as well as some of the pollution issues we face here at home. And also addresses the un-sustainability problem of modern energy policy. And also supports local jobs, rural agriculture, and ecological stewardship. And it keeps fuel prices down. And it's getting more efficient all the time...

BUT.....

It made my Corn Flakes 3 cents more expensive and my Grandma's 1971 Lincoln Continental had a fuel line go out...

SO I'M AGAINST IT! GO CRUDE OIL! GO CORN FLAKES! GO GRANDMA!

Don't disagree with the thought process and the America made sentiment, but consider the source, T Boone owns huge amounts of wind turbines in West Texas, and prior to that he was heavily invested in the natural gas business in the US. His statements while having truth in them are at the same time self serving. By the way T Boone's next venture, or where he sees the most upside profit is in water, and water rights. That scares me, the last energy group that wanted into water was Enron.
