EZ Stop of Mapleton, Iowa will be offering E15 to 2001 and newer vehicles this fall.

"After looking at the economics, offering E15 as a registered fuel this fall was an easy decision,” said EZ Stop President Burt Schauer. “Bottom line: I want to offer my customers a cost-saving, more homegrown option that supports Iowa’s economy and American jobs.

"The addition of EZ Stop to our growing list of Iowa E15 retailers shows there’s a real demand for low-cost, renewable fuel options,” added IRFA Managing Director Lucy Norton. “I think we’ll see more retailers shift to E15 this fall, and I expect Iowans to welcome the low-cost fuel.”

I hope somebody puts it in around here, or a blender pump with a 20% option. I'd like to have more choice than just 10% for my Jeep without having to splash blend it.

The EPA and DOT are both moving from E-10 to E-15. This is a controversial issue in that there are questions regarding how E-15 will affect engines, especially smaller ones. The Motorcycle Industry Counsel claims that E-15 could affect engine durability and deterioration. Further, if your motorcycle is damaged by E-15, you have no legal recourse.

You will see that even the EPA says that E-15 should not be used in motorcycles. You can read the FAQ at the following link:

http://www.epa.gov/otaq/regs/fuels/additive/e15/e15-faq.htm

The other document from the EPA concerns the EPA’s plans for preventing mis-fueling at pumps that dispense both E-15 and E-10 fuel. You can read that at the following link:

Are you sure about that? I heard the gas station below sales E0.

Also, you have other choices. Diesel vehicle is one of them.

bluenvoy says "E15 means major engine failure."
What's your source of this garbage? I've used way more than E15 (over 70% in a 2000 Ford Windstar and over 40% in a 2003 Honda CRV) for over 5 years and have never had any ethanol related performance or maintenance issues.

Why you hate choices so much? You mad that you can by Hershey bars and M&Ms at the same store too?

Good move EZ Stop. I hope your franchisor overlords don't force you to stop selling E15 like they have done elsewhere.

Once we get it here, my Jeep will be drinking it, if the pump asks, I'll just lie.

They'll offer it to whoever wants it. I'll keep filling my '94s with E85 though.
