Can anyone tell me where to find Ethanol free gasoline near Aurora,Ill.? I'm looking for plain old regular gasoline for my antique 1970 Honda SL175 motorcycle. How about an airport? Please send me an e-mail at: if you can tell me where I can find regular gas.

Thank-you

I can't find any Ethanol-free stations in NJ... even looking at the website Pure-Gas.Org

Is this really true? Does anyone in New Jersey know of an Ethanol-free gas station?

We have one station in town that boasts about its lack of fuel options ("ETHANOL FREE!"). It appears to be mostly empty, except for Saturday mornings when the old racist locals come in for crusty donuts to talk about Obama and how the world has gone to hell with all its video games and smartphones and Justin Biebers.

The rest of the stations in town are more up-to-date with technology and modern thinking, etc.

Not knowing where in Modesto you're driving from, the gas station at
2072 W Yosemite Avenue in Manteca (adjacent to Modesto) used to sell ethanol-free gas. You can contact them at (209) 629-8534 to see if they still sell it.

The website Pure-Gas.Org provides listings of gas stations across the United States and Canada that sell ethanol-free gas. Like Gas Buddy, the adding of gas stations and updating of prices, etc., is dependent on input from the general public, and it's information is only as good as their contributions. While it's a relatively small website, it's growing and (preaching to the choir), the more contributions there are to the website, the better and more useful the site will be.

Something that you can do if you want to find ethanol-free fuel is to simply contact your local fuel distributors, the distributors that provide fuel to gas stations, and ask them directly where you can find ethanol-free fuel. If it's available locally, they'll let you know as they'd rather have a knowledgeable customer base than have a product no one can find, let alone can't buy.

I have not been in every station in Modesto, CA or the surrounding cities. I have been on the lookout for ethanol free gas and all pumps I have checked have the "may contain up to 10% ethanol."

I tried to look it up on the internet and just go from site to site w/o finding the info.

Any suggestions out there?

"itaz, ethanol is actually compatible with virtually every modern engine (small and large). It's the collectible relics that have rubber seals and such that may not react well (partly because the seals are ancient)"

I would like to point out that the the ancient relics from a time earlier than the 70'S often had issues after 20,000-50,000 miles on gas that didn't contain ethanol for those that to young or senile to remember.

I found 5 branded stations near my house. A Shell with 93 octane, a Citgo with 87 octane and 3 BPs with 89 octane, all without ethanol.

itaz, ethanol is actually compatible with virtually every modern engine (small and large). It's the collectible relics that have rubber seals and such that may not react well (partly because the seals are ancient). I invite you to try 10% or 15% in your vehicle and discover that it's a cost savings with no downside, and it's good for local economy / environmental reasons too.

Oops we're not supposed to talk about this, since it's off topic, according to Hot Rod.

Hello juice410,

Several Gas Buddies have provided you with good information. This website is not monitored and does not post prices, but the locations have been accurate for me in South Carolina. I looked up Texas for you, but didn't find any in Fort Worth. Here is the link for Texas:

Pure-Gas.org - Texas stations

Best Wishes :-). MGY

As an added footnote, if you find a non-ethanol station or there is something odd about it (e.g. my truck stop only sells it at four of eight pumps), please update the information. Like Gas Buddy, it can help others.

Pure-gas.org is the only site I've seen that appears to be up-to-date.

...and for goldseeker and darwinfinch - go away trolls! This is not a discussion thread about the merits or detriments of ethanol in gasoline. Save it for the threads that are.

LOL! What a wasted thread. A few stations offer it around here, but it is 20 cents a gallon higher. 20 cents higher just to put a mix of toxic solution into your car that has cancer causing agents benzene, toluene, and xylene. These same three toxic additives to gasoline also degrade polymers in your engine.

Where can I find non-ethanol gas for my ancient vehicle? Also, where can I find a Windows 95 print driver for my Epson inkjet? It's pretty schweet.

pure-gas dot org
National list of eth-free stations. The site seems to be kept updated; I rely on it 'cause I frequently travel the Southeast in a 41 year old car (1972 MGB), and NO WAY is it ever gonna taste a drop of ethanol!
