At the same time, I'm still waiting for the answer Shockjock1961.
Shockjock1961 wrote: "GM and ford have modified their newer vehicles to make them compatible with E15."
What exactly did Fort and GM modified in their newer vehicles?

Obviously even the RFA has come to the realization that ethanol is a non-viable fuel if the mandate is revoked. Otherwise they wouldn't have had to resort to this propaganda campaign to keep their bread buttered...

From the link that I found and REb4 is using.
--"Ford made the decision late last year to allow owners of 2013 vehicles to use E15 and will allow the fuel in vehicles as old as model year 2010. The automaker has started placing labels in the fuel filter area that say blends of up to 15% ethanol are acceptable in new, non-flex fuel vehicles."
What modification did they make to retroactively allow owners to use E15 as far back as 2010 model years. Model years 2010 were released in August or 2009. Not saying that modifications weren't made back in 2009 but no proof that there were.

representatives of Ford and GM are indicating that they did modify them.
Representatives of Ford and GM are indicating NOT to use fuels that exceed e10 in older models of non ffv's. Quotes from Manufacturer's representatives can be found here:

"I provided plenty of links Shocky!"
Nah, you provided links showing that the RFA propaganda web sites stating that Ford and GM "recommended" E15, when the truth of the matter is that they simply approved it in their newest vehicles.
Show me a factual site which states that Ford and GM recommend E15...

I provided plenty of links Shocky! Reb4 even used one of my sources on another thread. Are you saying that GM and Ford never approved E15 for their newer models? Kind of a silly argument don't you think?

You didn't provide any links to prove your erroneous claim that Ford and GM "recommends" E15, so what's your point?

Then prove it. So far we all have learned that your motto is: whine, spin, half-truths, and lies.

I am writing to you today to strongly encourage your approval of the waiver requests for the Renewable Fuel Standard by the governors of Arkansas and North Carolina.
Since its adoption, the RFS program has not played any role in reducing oil imports, nor has it lowered gas prices, improved air quality, or done anything other than damage food security for millions of Americans.
Nationally, the RFS has proved amazingly successful for ethanol producers and no one else.
From state to state, community to community, the negative economic impacts have been felt in many ways. The RFS has encouraged billions in wasteful investments, causing companies to build unnecessary facilities which did nothing other than convert food into fuel.
So called "Renewable fuels" represent an unnecessary diversion of valuable resources away from important parts our economy. The continuation of this pointless mandate serves only to enrich the producers of ethanol, at the expense of the entire country. I strongly urge you to grant the waiver requests before you.
Thank you.

Thanks for posting proof positive that if it were not for the government FORCING the public to use ethanol the industry would go belly up!
Thanks for also proving that the ethanol producers are more concerned about their pocket book then they are about hunger through out the world, or increasing the pressure on the poor through higher food prices...
