Reader,

Did you know that the Petroleum monopoly doesn't care what you are driving? SUV or Prius? Gas or Diesel?

All they care about is that you DO NOT have a choice when you have to fill up your tank!

All they care about is that you ONLY have their product avaible to put in the vehicle. No other options wanted for you. All they care about is that they control all transportation fuel used in this country.

You have dollars, but make your choices carefully. Support the monopoly if you want. But if you want freedom and choice, please support ethanol and biodiesel.

Better yet, even E-85 is largely sold at oil owned terminals. Look for biofuel companies that get their E-85 and biodiesel directly from local producers.

Thanks for reading :)

Reb4, glad to see you are conserving with your fuel of choice.

By the "monopoly" I mean all entities who want to control what we use as transportation fuel, leaving you choice-less!

People vote with your dollars to end petroleum's stranglehold on you and your country.

Go clean. Go domestic. Go for longer lasting cleaner engines! That all adds up to Ethanol fuel.

hanie59, (WRITER),

Really? You have anything to back that up?

In my case, I went from a vehicle that got
20 - 24.54 (6 years of information I have available) to a vehicle that avg.
52.1MPG life time for last 2 years in my 2010 Prius...

And when prices got high, I went to using 2nd vehicle we owned it got:
26.3 - 33.4 MPG (years I have information).
26.77 - 36.27MPG (replacement to the above vehicle).

The mileage is actual usage from receipts and tracked by gasbuddy fuelbook.

And when you refer to the petroleum monoply, are you referring to THE BIG OIL companies, the oil producing countries or are you putting them all together?

I put all the ethanol into my non-FFV vehicles that I can. Never had any performance or maintenance problems with it and haven't seen any significant change in mileage.
