diva katan when was the last time you talked to olefin. I went through your whiteboard and I don't see him anywhere. Maybe you had him blocked like you have me.

I talked to him on Feb. 12 as you can see below.

Betty, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband. We had several conversations on firearms and the best ones for small women.

He truly loved you and his family. May he rest in peace.

May God bless his eternal soul; and lighten the discomfort of his loss on his family and many friends. He too was a teacher for the ages; and is in a place where worry about the end of times will be lifted from his big heart. My prayers join the many in the air.

Mud, I see how many memorials you author; may your load lighten in these tasks.May SquawBer increase your daily allotment of octopus to keep you strong.

I don't often follow FaceBook topics; but when I do.... I saw the Olefin mention last night; and it didn't register in my exhausted mind..so sorryy

This is the last posting in my "Home" in Fresno from him on February 12.

Good Morning Mud!

Thanks about the pic, took it in 2009.

Only picture taken of me before age 14, other than school pictures. Sure I came as a surprise for my parents were in their late 40's! Today at that age would be arrested for having a toy gun!

So you have old copies of Penthouse? LOL

You could scan your old pictures. It's a great way to preserve & be able to find them, if file correctly.... my files are not that good. I scanned most of my old 35 MM slides for some the color had started deteriorating.

Did I pump your story your story? What story?

The Penthouse he referred to is our 20 foot shipping container which we call our Penthouse. It keeps our house and garage clean.

olefin was a true friend. I will miss his daily postings in the Veterans: A Quick Thank You forum. Just looking through his family albums one can tell he was a dedicated family man. May God comfort Betty and family over the next few days and weeks. Remember someday you will be reunited again.

I made one minor mistake on the date of the service. It was yesterday. And he didn't have any sons but he talked about his sons-in-law as if they were his sons.

Survivors include his wife Betty Moses of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Daughters: Teresa Dulaney and Terrie Flowers and husband Tony; Granddaughters: Tasha Kidd and husband Eli and Alyson Dulaney ; Great Grandson: Porter Lee Kidd, his pride and joy; all of Odessa, TX

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Essie Moses, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, parents-in-law, Oran and Ruth Blythe.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Log Cemetery, Booneville, Arkansas under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home on February 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

Dayton, may you truly Rest In Peace. You were a good buddy and you will be missed here on GasBuddy and by all of your other friends. I was probably one of the few GBs that understood the true meaning of your GB handle, olefin.

Betty, you have my sincere condolences in this sudden loss of your husband.

Turns it was just being moderated. At least they didn't think it was so weird that they refused to post it.

My Internet connection is very flaky today, I'm only on here thanks to an iPad. I tried to sign the guest book but my signing disappeared. I hope it's just being moderated and it didn't disappear into the bit bucket!

Dayton and Betty, I was so looking forward to meeting you on Navigator of the Seas on Feb 23rd; and again on May 25th. I knew something was wrong when I saw your cabins suddenly come available.

I am going to miss you, buddy....

My deepest condolences to Betty, the love of your life (and you were the love of hers), and the rest of the family.

Rest in peace. Perhaps we will meet on the "other" side.
