Just a quick note about these topics:

The difference between the Games & Trivia category and the Just For Fun category is next to indistinguishable. In JFF: anything goes. It doesn't matter at all what anyone posts, as long as it's not abusive. In G&T: you're expected to abide by whatever rules are set by the person who created the topic.

For example: if you choose to post in a forum involving a counting-by-3s game, please don't post whatever pops into your head. Stick to the game. If you can't count to three or just don't want to, there's not thing wrong with that. Post in another topic.

That said, these topics are also just for fun. The huge majority of them contain no real discussion at all and are being used just to gain points. This is perfectly okay.

I'd like to take this time to remind everyone that these topics are just for fun. If you feel that someone is posting something that "disrupts" a game, counts out of order, bends the rules of the game, etc. please either ignore the post and move on or use the Ignore link found in the post to keep all of that member's posts from being displayed to you.

There is a big difference between someone posting something that you don't like in a fluff topic made for points or counting out of order and actual abuse such as vulgar language or personal attacks.

The bottom line: if you're not having fun, you're doing something wrong. It's very easy to ignore posts you don't like.

If someone is being obviously abusive or offensive to you, please use the Report Abuse link found in their post. Please don't report games topics for anything other than actual abuse or the report will be ignored.
