Here's an interesting game. I will start with a highway and the next person will name a city that the highway runs through. The following person will then name a highway that runs through that city. Then after that, another person will name another city that the highway runs through. Etcetera...

I'll do the first 3 to start off.

Say what, hnofer17?

I've always heard he developed it in Springfield, MA.

The game of basketball, as we know it today was created by Dr. James Naismith in 1891 in Springfield, Massachusetts, to condition young athletes during the winter.

Let's visit the University of Kansas, maybe catch a basketball game, in...

Lawrence, KS

KU is where James Naismith founded the program and invented basketball as we know it!

Not much to do in Minot, but we could visit the Dakota Territory Air Museum or hang out at the Air Force base that is the largest employer in the city...then off on...

Mankato, MN

One of the communities mentioned in both the reality-based "Little House on the Prairie" books and the fictional TV show that was (very) loosely based on those books.

Well, Bloomsburg, PA is the town I was born and raised near.

Anyway, we'll leave Cheyenne on I-25.

BTW, Cheyenne, WY is home to I-180. It is an interstate spur route that is completely at grade with traffic lights. (Or, so I've heard.)

mightyace, that's interesting you happened to have been to such a remote place! Just like the time I drove from Denver all the way to

Cheyenne, WY

Just to say I've been to Wyoming. There really wasn't much in that city either except for a Wal-Mart and a Starbucks.

At the eastern end of PA 44 lies the unincorporated community of:
Buckhorn, PA

Home of the dying Columbia Mall, a couple of truck stops, a Quaker Steak and Lube, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart and many other restaurants and shops serving both the residents of Bloomsburg and vicinity as well as travelers on I-80.

I was just in that area Christmas week.
