As a general guide most releases after around 1985 to 1990 were released on CD with record albums (vinyl) being a limited release if at all. Limited releases DO NOT count, the album must have had been released on vinyl or cassette tape not just released only in CD format. Any popular music album is acceptable, big band, country, rock, jazz, blues, comedy and yes even hip-hop and rap IF IT WAS RELEASED ON VINYL!!! In my own personal Album collection which at one time grew to 4 record crates I had an artist for every letter of the alphabet except one 'X' most artists whose names begin with 'X' are post vinyl so as a general rule we will skip that letter. lets not be picky about greatest hits or best of titles but if the title is unique such as in my examples below then please use the correct title. The Vinyl game is similar to other A-Z music games with the following rules

A - Z by the name of the group or artist's last name followed by the name of one of their albums released on VINYL!!!

In my own personal Album collection which at one time grew to 4 record crates I had an artist for every letter of the alphabet except one 'X' most artists whose names begin with 'X' are post vinyl so as a general rule we will skip that letter.

lets not be picky about greatest hits or best of titles but if the title is unique such as in my examples below then please use the correct title.
Common names may be used 'Zoso' for Led Zeppelin 4 or 'the white album' by the Beatles as examples.
