I own land near Lodoga, CA, and have been on the Sites-Lodoga Road several times. Don't remember seeing Devils Elbow, but . . . I must have gone by it (at least near)!!!

C - Chambless, San Bernardino Co., out on Old Route 66 in the Mojave Desert, where the towns were named in alphabetical order. (So, between Baghdad and Danby.)

Grayson. This Stanislausian town is at an elevation of 52 feet. Supposedly there is one sex offender living there. Send a little girl down the street, carrying a basket of goodies for her grandma, and you will find him.

Camsue, Lokern is the site of a toxic waste dump. Just follow any tank truck filled with spent acid or other noxious substance, you'll find it. The exit off I-5 is not Lokern Road, but some other.

K - Keough Hot Springs, Inyo County. The road to this one, off Route 395, IS marked. Never was there, from a mile or two distant, it seems to be a house or two surrounded by trees in the midst of a desert.

Old Station

Old Station is a census-designated place (CDP) in Shasta County. It is located 13 miles (21 km) north of Lassen Volcanic National Park, directly between Redding and Susanville. Old Station sits at an elevation of 4,386 feet (1,337 m). The 2010 United States census reported Old Station's population was 51. The median age was 61.9 years, with 27 people (52.9%) aged 45 to 64, and 19 people (37.3%) who were 65 years of age or older.

Old Station was once a stagecoach stop on the trail from Sacramento to Yreka in 1857. It was also a temporary military post while soldiers patrolled the stage road. It now has mostly traveler services including 1 gas station, 3 general stores, a restaurant, and many campgrounds. It is the southern gateway to the Hat Creek Recreation Area.
