Super quickie.

Col Potter's son-in-law came to visit the 4077. What company did he represent?

Just to ease the tension, here's a real quickie. Hawkeye and Margaret were in the supply room taking inventory. It was late and they were both tired. Margaret called out sulfa. Hawkeye, looking for it, said where's the sulfa. Margaret gave a very explicit answer. Where was the sulfa, according to Margaret ( and it wasn't in the supply room ).

Sometimes it's difficult to remember if it was the Henry years or the Potter years.

I will be away for a couple of weeks beginning Feb 21, so my participation will be limited to non-existent during that time. Will be back after March 4th. So I would be extra grateful if 97 would do us the pleasure.

Squigy, of course, nailed it. The water heater.

The incubator was another episode.

So, Squigy got water hearer, Ceeline got the bed pan fountain. You figure out who's next.

And I say incubator because I know it wasn't a pizza oven. Pizza ovens were easy to come by. :)

Let me clarify the question.

The 4077 had requested something and was told that to get it they would have to beautify the camp. What was it they requested?

They had to beautify it because some hair brained General was coming and it was his idea to beautify the camps. It was done to please a visiting idiot.

The first part is correct. The roof was for the orphanage. That was not why they had to beautify things.

The pizazz: A tree fountain with bedpans.

Was it to get a new roof for the hospital...

Two part question.

The camp had to do a beautification project in exchange to get a new what?

After the crew got it completed, Margaret said it needed some pazazz. What did Klinger add, be specific.

Yes 97, Coop nailed it completely. The term used for PTSD was "shell shock"

I will say this took some research.

a) Capt Steve Newsome
b) PTSD (although they didn't call it that at the time)
c) Potter and Winchester were down with the mumps and he was brought in as a replacement. He cracked under the pressure - he had been at the Pusan Perimeter, a real hellhole; the duties at 4077 brought back too many old memories.

Episode: Heal Thyself, Season 8, #17 (190).

MASH was just on the TV, but not that episode.

I'm busy too, but maybe I can find an oldy but goody ....

OK, here goes:

In one episode, the late actor Edward Hermann plays a surgeon visiting the 4077th:

a) What is the name of the character he plays?
b) What is his ailment?
c) Why is he at the 4077th?
Extra Crdit: Although I don't know many of them, what is the name of the episode?

Sorry, guys and gals. Too much on my plate. Arm wrestle for posting a question!

Here's what's new w/me.....
I saw Dr. Zeman yesterday; Unfortunately, my Dr. recommended an MRI to see if there is a tear in the meniscus. SO.. I am waiting for insurance to approve the MRI.

Then, I wait for results of the MRI. If I need to have surgery, I will.

From my friend who recently had knee surgery, no biggie, just TCOB.
However, I've never had surgery since a pin placed in my rt foot 12 years ago.

Hubby & I are going to Las Vegas (Did not know it was SuperBowl weekend when I booked the stay) at our Timeshare! It will be fun to get away, but much busier than usual. Luckily, there Is little pain w/my injury, just swelling. I will need to be cautious (no walking up/down strip). Where the timeshare is located, everything is fairly close, shopping, restaurants, and of course, the casino. I had wanted to go to the outlet mall, but this can wait!

The 2 of you can arm wrestle for submitting the next question.

Both of you are correct!

Since I am working Tomorrow (Wed.), and (Thursday), and leaving Friday to go out of town, one of you please post? :))

Klinger overheard him telling the priest at the orphanage must know. Old family tradition. Had to be anonymous. Right?

OK! My questions are not as thought provoking, because I'm an "intermediate" MASH fan. Just kidding....I LOVE the show!

Who knew about MAJ Winchester's donation to the orphanage? and How?
