I'll never tell, tbucks. You, goof around? Nah, you're simply making this thread entertaining.

As I remember, which really isn't all that great, the GI gave Klinger a book of matches and I think it was from Paco's. Don't quote me on Paco's. It might have been some pool place. I remember them talking about Paco's and what he ate there.

1. A coupon for a free car-wash.

2. Mom's Drive-Thru Wedding Chapel and Three-Minute Car Wash... "We wash your car .... She hangs you out to dry"!

[Coop is sitting there wondering "Is this the actual answer, or is TBucks goofing around again?"]

It is officially declarated ... Ceelined nailed it (except for the typo ... he was helping 'prisoners' escape the shelling). I know .... picky, picky .... but none of you had Lottie Brindle for high school English!

Three parter: 1) How did Mulcahy lose his hearing?
2) What was he doing when it happened?
3) Who was the only one (besides Mulcahy) who knew what really happened?

WHAT??? I thought his answer was just a bunch of made up stuff, as usual. I do that occasionally just to keep people (including me) awake.

I don't remember that episode, that Col, or what general? They say the mind is the second thing to go, I can't remember the first.

An immense project to make crankcase oil edible after 5000 miles. In reality it was an excuse for Col. Wartman (the general's aid) to keep Frank Burns busy.

The Franastan plan? Had to be some crazy idea of Frank's or something involving him.

Is this where they knocked him out with a shot then dressed him up like a mummy and hid him in among the patients to foil his and Margaret's plans?

Prince got the last question correct and it's his turn; but, he also said he would be busy and may not get back. Someone should go ahead and ask a question.

If they were poisonous, Millie would be dead. :) I do my fair share of putting bugs back outside. Those bug me though, that popping noise. Hornets or wasps or bees or spiders or lady bugs or even other beetles get put back outside. Things that bother me -- like popping bugs and piss ants -- get to meet Jesus on my schedule, not theirs. :)

Poisonous? I don't know ... I've never eaten one. I'm sure if a dog or cat got one, they'd digest it without any problem. But like most beetles, they are harmless ... don't bite, sting, or threaten your peace of mind.

They're attracted to light, so it's not uncommon to find them on your screens or window panes. Because of their flat bodies, they can usually find a way into your house. When my kids were small, I'd tell them, rather than smoosh the critter, just open the door or window and let them back outside.

Thanks, Tbucks. Now tell me they're not poisonous because Millie calls them junk food -- to the point I have only heard one in the den this year. When I was on the road so much, I'd come in on weekends and they'd be crazy down here because no one had been in here for a week. Oh, and I called them dead because when I caught them, the last words they heard were, "Say hi to Jesus because you're about to meet him."

By the way, the bug (or more properly, insect) that makes a popping sound is a "click" beetle or elater (family name Elateridae). There are two tiny 'hinges' behind the head and before the thorax. When the little beast finds itself on its back, it forces its head backward and then snaps it forward, real quick, to flip it's body to an upright position. The two little hinges rub against the carapace of its back, making a 'clicking' or 'popping' sound. If you happen to catch one, place it upside down on the palm of your hand (or if you're a wimp, on the surface of a desk or table). Then watch the fun. Once it's back in position it will crawl or fly away.

Now aren't you glad there's a Zoology major in the house!

Morning everyone!

No stabs at it yet, eh Squigy? Oh well...

I tried spinach instead of broccoli last night as my dinner greens. I'll stay away from spinach from now, I think. Spinach is ok, but I do prefer my broccoli. 40 seconds in the nuker and I'm a happy camper!

I've got a full day of relaxing, so I'll return whenever... Later

Oh, I forgot to credit Sir Squigy for his outstanding 'hint'!

Scroll down a ways and you'll find Squigy asking me what 'color' should he pick. I didn't answer because I thought that would for sure give it away...

Another gold star to the gentleman in the corner!

WTG Squigy!!
