I'll start by asking 5 questions.
The next 3-5 posters answer them..
Then the next person in, asks 5 questions of their own.
And so on...

1. Do you believe in the power of prayer? Most definitely!! Prayer has done wonders so many times for my family.
2. Spring has sprung...what was the first day of Spring like where you live? Cool, dreary, & rainy...then, it snowed.
3. Dancing With The Stars has returned...who are you rooting for? Can't remember her name at the moment...she's girl with the 2 amputate legs.
4. Do you know anyone that has a pacemaker? If yes, how much has his/her life changed because of it? Don't personally know anyone / was hoping to find out because I may have family member getting one.
5. Cats or Dogs or Both? Long-haired or short-haired? Both / Short-haired...found out I am allergic to long-haired cats & dogs.

1. Do you believe in the power of prayer? Resounding YES!! God is listening and answers prayers... in His time and His way, not ours.
2. Spring has sprung...what was the first day of Spring like where you live? It was such a beautiful sun shining day, temps in high 50s after a 3 days of cold, rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain, and rain. Was a wonderful start to Spring! And today was 78! Tomorrow down to 50s and rain and 40s and possible snow and rain on Tues, but it's going to get better!!
3. Dancing With The Stars has returned...who are you rooting for? I didn't watch all of it, so no favorites. I do not know why Billy Dee Williams agreed to do DWTS. He is only walking and making himself look bad. Truly admire the paraplegic woman... she did so very well.
4. Do you know anyone that has a pacemaker? If yes, how much has his/her life changed because of it? Do not know anyone..
5. Cats or Dogs or Both? Long-haired or short-haired? Dogs, mostly long hair, but love labs with short hair

1. Have you been snowed in with the last big cold front or do you expect to be with the one approaching now? We had snow this week, less than 2 inches and I stayed home for one day, but worked the entire time.
2. How cold has it been in your area? Down to single digits (6-7) and wind chills below 0 which is very unusual for our weather to have temps so low day and night for an extended period of time.
3. Are you getting ready to watch the Super Bowl or are you uninterested? If getting ready, will you host a party and what will the menu include? I'm uninterested. Will be watching Downton Abbey on PBS.
4. What is something new going on in your life since the first of the year?
I started a new job within Duke on Jan 2nd. A lot of overtime, but I needed some extra income, so all is good except being so tired.
5. Are you watching anything new on TV this spring? Any new favorites? Downton Abbey is the only new program. I've checked out a few other shows. Be glad when some others return.

1. You have been invited to a costume party. Who or what would you go dressed as? I think I got rid of my cat costume, so I don't have a costume. Guess I could go as a ghost like I always did at halloween when a child. But, probably go as a formal waitress/hostess or something like that so I wouldn't have to buy anything.
2. You get a call from one of your friends who saw a picture of you online that they knew you didn't put there. What do you do?? Find the owner of the site and get them to take it down... and hopefully found out who put it up so I could ask the person why.
3. Do you try to talk yourself out of getting a ticket and if so what do you say? I think I might try in the future. In the past I said I was going downhill and didn't realize I was going 51 in 35, which was the truth, but didn't help. Still got the ticket.
4. What is the year, color and make of your vehicle? silver 2000 Jeef grand cherokee (around 72k miles)
5. Name four things you want to do before you die. live at the ocean or have a place to visit at the ocean; have enough money not to have to work and worry about finances; be married to a wonderful man who loves me and I love; be slender, fit and well.

1. You are told that you have 2 weeks to live, what do you want to do in those 2 weeks? eat whatever I want, go to the beach and stay in super nice place and sit and watch the ocean, visit with family and friends w/o telling them it's the last time I'll see them, spend some time with the Lord (beach is good place for that), give away everything and clean out so no one else has to do it... whew that migh take more than 2 weeks! :-)
2. Name a movie that you've seen on TV this month...I caught one of my favorite movies half way through... You've Got Mail ... always love to watch it.
3. Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket? If yes, how fast were you going?
Yes, about 25 years ago, going 51 in a 35
4. What is the year of your car? 2000
5. What color are your eyes? green (but they will change color to blue-green and blue-gray based on clothing color :-)

1. Spend time with family and significant others, which might include traveling to a place I had never been.
2. Just watched Driving Miss Daisy again last night.
3. Yes, but the last ticket I got was 12 years ago! I was doing 77 in a 65 zone, racing home from a late evening appointment. The officer was not nice, and he seemed to be intent upon making his "quota."
4. Brand new, 2013, which I purchased in March.
5. Blue.

1. Behind Door #1 is a new car. Behind Door #2 is a vacation to anywhere you want to go. Behind Door #3 is $250,000 cash. What door would you chose? #3--Getting out of debt is better than the other 2...Besides, with $250,000, I'd be able to buy the other 2.
2. Your body has been frozen in the year 2013. You are unfrozen in the year 2113. What is the first thing you want? I'd want to see my son; but I know he would be alive. So, I have no idea...
3. If you could pick any time period in history to visit what would you pick? I always said I'd go just far enough back to meet my brother, David and my sister, Annette. But, meeting family wouldn't be a good idea. But, perhaps in the early 1900's.
4. It is Christmas morning and the only present you want to see under the tree is? My family
5. You have a bucket list. Name the top 5 things you want to do. 1. See all 50 states(I already have 11 crossed off); 2. Win about 50 million dollars; 3. See my son grow up and have a family of his own; 4. Being able see America's Wild Horses running free without someone trying to slaughter them; 5. Can't think of a #5 at the moment...

Door 3 - tithe, new house, new car, save
2. Your body has been frozen in the year 2013. You are unfrozen in the year 2113. What is the first thing you want? to not have been frozen-- hard enough adjusting to world now, much less 100 years from now, but if I must answer something, I'd probably want water or food
3. If you could pick any time period in history to visit what would you pick? when Christ was alive and to meet and serve him
4. It is Christmas morning and the only present you want to see under the tree is? a check for enough money to retire and give to others
5. You have a bucket list. Name the top 5 things you want to do. I don't have a bucket list, but I've kind of wanted to go to Israel (if safe)and Hawaii, be independently wealthy, work for a Christian organization, be married to a man I love who loves me, have a nice house that has big front porch and a back screened-in porch. Pretty good for someone who doesn't have a bucket list :-)

1. What did you do for the 4th of July and did you make it a 4-day weekend?
** I didn't do anything. Was going to go to my daughter's house but she had to work. Stayed home, cooked out, watched fireworks from my backyard and got mosquito bit all over my ankles
2. From the GB weekly Q, are you listed as an organ donor on your driver's license? Any restrictions of what parts of your body can be used?
** I think I did mark and say my body parts could be used as an organ donor. Only trouble is what I have may be unusable because it is too old and worn out.
3. For those who believe in the rapture, have you ever considered if your body parts were donated to multiple people what would happen for your body to join your spirit in heaven at the rapture? Parts from the people go up to heaven or what?
** Never gave it a second thought as I don't believe in the rapture. I believe in God and Heaven.
4. Have you enjoyed any movie rentals that you might recommend?
** I don't rent movies but I wait until they come on the premium channels. A couple I watched are the Twilight Series, War Horse, The Help, Lincoln
5. Are you watching any new summer tv programs that you would recommend? ** There are just a few, The Killing, King and Maxwell, Falling Skies, Major Crimes, Rizzoli and Isles

1. What did you do for the 4th of July and did you make it a 4-day weekend?
I slept, ate leftover pizza, and watched tv all day. I did enjoy a 4-day weekend away from work!!
2. From the GB weekly Q, are you listed as an organ donor on your driver's license? Any restrictions of what parts of your body can be used? I am listed for organ donation, no restrictions. Family knows everything can be used to help others down to skin for burn victims and bone for surgeries, etc.

LInk to Rapture Definition and
BGEA on rapture
Would be glad to talk to you more about the rapture. Email is my name on here and I use hotmail.
I just cannot imagine if already dead and body parts scattered to other people if the parts will come back together as my earthly body joins my soul and "new" heavenly body. Thus why I posted the question.
4. Have you enjoyed any movie rentals that you might recommend? Safe Haven was good and unexpected ending. Others I've rented were strange, although Silver Linings and Identity Thief had good endings
5. Are you watching any new summer tv programs that you would recommend?
Watching so many... I could name 10. But, I'll just say Graceland (USA), Crossing Lines, Zero Hour, Do No Harm, and what I should not watch since I protested the program airing due to moral reasons, Mistresses, but I know how to separate the fiction from being an influence on my life as behaviors being ok. Still a waste of time, I guess.

1. What did you do for the 4th of July and did you make it a 4-day weekend? Nothing special because hubby didn't get home from work until about 4pm. The 3 of us grilled hamburgers outside, then shot of fireworks in between the raindrops.
2. From the GB weekly Q, are you listed as an organ donor on your driver's license? Any restrictions of what parts of your body can be used? No
3. For those who believe in the rapture, have you ever considered if your body parts were donated to multiple people what would happen for your body to join your spirit in heaven at the rapture? Parts from the people go up to heaven or what? First of all, never heard of the 'rapture'. From dust we were created and unto the dust our bodies shall return...only the soul goes to heaven. So, it doesn't really matter where the body parts are when you die.
4. Have you enjoyed any movie rentals that you might recommend? We don't rent movies...so, can't help here...
5. Are you watching any new summer tv programs that you would recommend? Falling Skies, Rookie Blue. The first is a SyFy series about aliens trying to take over the earth; the latter is a cop show.

1. Three wishes: My dad died when I was young, so I would like to have a long conversation with him. To have someone fall in love with me as much as I would fall in love with them. Certain knowledge of where we go after this life is all over.
2. I would hand him the fast food. Shouldn't be eating it anyway.
3. Probably my job, as I am getting close to retirement.
4. Not usually, but in some instances, yeah, I do.
5. People who are too arrogant to say they are sorry.

.
1. If you had three wishes what would they be?
2. You went inside and bought something to eat at a fast food restaurant to take home when a homeless person comes up and asks for money to get something to eat. What do you do?
3. If you were told you had to give up something that meant a lot to you what would it be?
4. Do you hold grudges?
5. What is one of your pet peeves?

1. If you had three wishes what would they be? Altruistic wishes... everyone would be saved and know Jesus Christ; no more illness; peace for the world and safety from harm for everyone (selfish wishes... to be well and free of all physical and mental barriers; love; money)
2. You went inside and bought something to eat at a fast food restaurant to take home when a homeless person comes up and asks for money to get something to eat. What do you do? I think I'd offer the person the food. I do not give money to people who ask, but I would give them food, just never been asked at a restaurant. However, gave $ to man and his small son in parking lot to buy food for dinner close to a holiday... always felt I was duped, but that's their problem. And, refused $ to a guy and he mouthed off at me that I had the $, just didn't want to give it. Lesson learned... saw him at another grocery store parking lot doing the same.
3. If you were told you had to give up something that meant a lot to you what would it be? my faith, my freedom to believe, my job (been unemployed in past... employed is much better! :-)
4. Do you hold grudges? Try not to, but even though I forgive, I don't forget...
5. What is one of your pet peeves? Only one? People on cell phones driving, walking, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, etc... self absorbed and no idea how they affect others

1. Do you go to auctions? If so have you bid on something sight unseen, won, and discovered something of value? No
2. Say you have an excellent singing voice. You are asked to sing the National Anthem at the Superbowl? Do you accept or turn it down? turn it down...I have an ok voice, but I am no soloist.
3. You have no patience. How long are you willing to stand in line for tickets to a well published concert you want to see? Well, I have stood in lines at Disney for an hour and for the no 1 listed pizza place in USA for three hrs. So I guess three hrs. I made friends in all lines and had fun.
4. When using the drive through at McDonalds (per say), get your food, take it home and then find out it is the wrong order. Do you take it back or do you eat it? I check it right away.
5. When seeing a heartfelt commercial or watching a sad movie tears come to your eyes at the top of the hat. I cry watching baby birds in the yard..so, You get it....I cry at a drop of a hat.

1. Do you go to auctions? If so have you bid on something sight unseen, won, and discovered something of value? No auctions since tagging along with parents as a child, but would never bid sight-unseen :-)
2. Say you have an excellent singing voice. You are asked to sing the National Anthem at the Superbowl? Do you accept or turn it down? I'd accept it.. might launch a new career!
3. You have no patience. How long are you willing to stand in line for tickets to a well published concert you want to see? not much of a concert person, so 30 minutes would be too long for me
4. When using the drive through at McDonalds (per say), get your food, take it home and then find out it is the wrong order. Do you take it back or do you eat it? Had this happens so many times.. I've called, I've taken it back, and I've eaten it and made the best of it, depends on how tired I am and how far I have to travel to go back. I usually check bag now before driving away from restaurant (not at drivein window, but in parking lot)
5. When seeing a heartfelt commercial or watching a sad movie tears come to your eyes at the top of the hat. Yes. I cry at the drop of a hat lately, but always at movies and tv programs, maybe even a tv commercial. Hate being so emotional...talk about something the least bit emotional and I'm tearing up.

1. Do you go to auctions? If so have you bid on something sight unseen, won, and discovered something of value? Never been to one / -na-
2. Say you have an excellent singing voice. You are asked to sing the National Anthem at the Superbowl? Do you accept or turn it down? I'd accept...only because I'd want everyone to hear the National Anthem the CORRECT way...not the crappy way some of the singing artists sing it(adding notes where they don't belong).
3. You have no patience. How long are you willing to stand in line for tickets to a well published concert you want to see? It's true...I have no patience. But, if it's something I really want to see...perhaps an hour...
4. When using the drive through at McDonalds (per say), get your food, take it home and then find out it is the wrong order. Do you take it back or do you eat it? First I call them about it; then take it back. / It's happened to me before...the mistaken order is never anything I like anyway.
5. When seeing a heartfelt commercial or watching a sad movie tears come to your eyes at the top of the hat. Always

1. Have you ever had shingles? Were they misdiagnosed and/or turned into PHN (Post herpatic neuralgia aka SEVERE LASTING PAIN)?
Had shingles Dec 2004, misdiagnosed and meds late, so bad case ended up in hospital and PHN pain that lasted 5 more months... still have itching on my ear. Having 2nd case of shingles now... misdiagnosed at Urgent Care, so a week later with meds, but so far the pain is controlled, but waiting for the lessions to heal and stop itching.
2. Do you have healthcare professionals in your family? If so, what do they do? my sister-in-law is RN; niece just graduated from nursing school and takes her state boards in one week!!So proud of her going back to school to live her calling. (and yes, phlebotomists are healthcare professionsals, too, Ceeline :-)
3. Have you ever been told that people's perception of you is something totally different than what you believe to be true? How did you overcome it? Was recently told that something people perceive about me at work that is totally wrong. I have career aspirations, but do not believe I am better than the job I have which is what some mystery people believe. Perceptions are hard to overcome and not even sure it's worth the hassle since they do not know my truth... only the truth they have assigned to me.
4. What type items besides books do you buy from Amazon? horeseshoe shaped neck heating pad, phone battery, pc battery, face products, thermometer to name a few
5. If you have planted flowers/veggies this spring, what have you planted?
bought a tomato plant already growing tall, planted a few annuals so far and bought some liriope to replace some that died (probably from yard mtnce crew spraying week killer and it blowing over on plant)

3. Have you ever been told that people's perception of you is something totally different than what you believe to be true? How did you overcome it? Most people take me as being really reserved. / I am...but, I'm not afraid to voice my opinion, especially if it's something I feel very strong about.
4. What type items besides books do you buy from Amazon? The only thing I've ever bought from Amazon is 2 DVDs: Seasons 1 & 2 of Rookie Blue
5. If you have planted flowers/veggies this spring, what have you planted? We have planted anything because up until 2 weeks ago, it was very cold here. I have noticed that the local farmers have started planting, and we will probably do so over the course of the next 2 weeks.

1. I have been cleaning up around the house, doing a lot of reading also because the weather has been rainy.
2. I love the mountains, particularly in the fall.
3. Probably my early 50's, believe it or not. The beginning of wisdom...
4. I'd like a high end sedan, like a Lexus or Acura, that had all the cool electronic/computer stuff in it.
5. We are a global economy. I don't think anyone should be restricted to buying just American, as we do not always make the best product. I think competition should drive American companies to provide better products. I will buy what I consider best!

.
1. What are your plans this weekend or week?
2. Whats your preference Mountain Retreat or Beach Front Cottage?
3. What was your favorite age?
4. What make of car (lets be reasonable) be if you had the money?
5. Do you think we should buy ONLY American made cars? Made not just assembled here!
