I believe that it is a civil war and the US should stay out of it!

No military action will happen!

This poll is sort of late. It should have been asked about a month ago.

It always amazes me that this President gets the blame for all that is negative but no credit for the positive. This Syria strike idea comes from the same Neo-cons who sold us a bogus WMD story to go after Iraq. Didn't anyone hear John McCain running around with his hair on fire a couple weeks ago? Hope that the deal brokered with the Russians proves effective to end this nonsense. We can't get involved in every civil war around the globe. What Assad has done to his own people amounts to a war crime...and that is how it should be addressed. Haven't we had enough of our men and women in uniform come back dead or maimed from the last two wars?

I'm really hoping that the optimists (no military action) beat out the pessimists (over 90 days).

Sorry "novaman1" you live in a dream world. Not sense the Korean conflict has POLITICS NOT played a part in our fighting men foreign and domestic !
Until we get our act together as a nation, and VOTE ALL of these bums out of office, will we have a chance of becoming a great nation again.

Look at Greece and you will have a good idea what will happen to the US in a few more years..

May not be in my life time, but there will be another civil war between the HAVE and the HAVE NOTS !!

The working force can't afford to contuse to keep the non working force in their living standard they have become accustom to !!

Congress shut down Obama. And I think the rest of the world doesn't want to tangle with Syria. So I think there won't be any military action.

This sounds cynical, but it will probably be determined by the proximity of the next election and how the Democrats are fairing in the news and polls. The worse they are, the more likely a strike against Syria.

There's too much evidence that the Syrian rebels are inextricably linked with Al Qeada and Congress is actually showing some restraint. Too bad, Mr. "Peace" President. No additional wars for you.

91 days or more if we had a Republicant president finishing Daddy's war. Fortunately, we have a Democratic President who shrewdly maneuvers adversarial positions into a desirable diplomatic result. Unfortunately, the Syrian situation is so complex no resolution by outside powers is really possible. But at least taking chemical weapons out of the equation is beneficial for all, excepting the terrorists.
