When I Do Use It, I Only Put It Right At The Speed Limit. You Are Able To Go Over The Speed Limit 3 Miles Per Hour Over. But Consume Your Gas As Much As Possible.

Then when the vehicle speeds up going downhill it comes off the gas completely rather than building momentum to expend on the next hill. If the cruise control were proportional control so that the corrections were proportional to the distance from the set point the throttle control would be much smoother and would get better mileage. I get much smoother throttle control and better mileage without the cruise control.
