There is no national energy policy in Canada either. Our politicians have trouble looking beyond the next election.

What policy? No drilling so we can have our own oil instead of buying foreign. No atomic could cause a problem in 100 years. No fixes that would be relativly fast while developing alternative energy. Seems like someone could take the bull by the horns and take a positive approach to the energy we need while developing what will serve us down the road..
