Do you generally obey the reduced speed limits in construction work zones?
Yes, I obey the limit regardless
I usually slow down to avoid tickets
I usually slow only if work or conditions require
I follow the traffic flow, fast or slow

well thank you for your honesty ,cause it means alot to me and my fellow flagger's out there . most of my work will be in eugene, or in the next week so please be very careful , we will be working with , the gas company , very dangerious. so if we ask you to slow down even more it is because of safety for mthe crew working and the flagger's as well .. thank you all for listening .. jodior

yes cause i am a flagger .. and i know how dangerious it is not to speed threw work zones .. so next time you drive threw one think about that person standing out there and how they would like to go home to there family at night too ..

Amazing, everyone confesses to obeying the construction zone speed limit.

I drove (semi truck) through a construction zone a while back. This construction zone was one lane for 35 miles. I drove 45 mph all the way, just like the sign said to do. After the first two miles I couldn't see even one other car in front of me, but I just kept plugging along, at 45 mph. Behind me, traffic backed up, bumper to bumper, for as far as I could see. Finally, the sign said "End Construction Speed Zone". Four cars were sitting there. Four Indiana State Police cars. Four Indiana State Police cars with four bored Indiana State Troopers.

I was very proud to have deprived the state of Indiana of considerable funds that day. :-P

If there is no traffic and no workers I don't worry as much.

If I see workers near the road I do their limit. Even if I see convicts picking up trash, I go slower.

Usually traffic makes doing the limit in a construction zone a dream.

Driving slow is safer for all. those construction zones can be grueling for the workers nerves. Be kind!
