One member says truckers use other tools for mapping best diesel prices. I would love to know what those are, and will go searching, but if you know, please post! I buy diesel at the pump for my generator when needed and would love to know where the best prices are.

It's also possible to sign up for GasBuddy alerts (available in some areas) and then receive email notification when the algorithm decides that prices are likely to rise soon.

No, there are no diesel price charts; just gasoline price charts. That's simply a realistic view of the number of diesel versus gasoline cars sold in the United States. While there are predictions that the sale of new diesel cars and small trucks might reach 5 percent in three to five years, diesels currently make up only 1.5 percent of new car sales in the United States. I don't have figures for Canadian auto/small truck sales.

The Gas Buddy fuel price charts, realistically, cater to overwhelming market reality (in my opinion). Over-the-road truckers use diesel but they also use other fuel tracking programs rather than be dependent on prices posted (erroneously, fraudulently, or accurately) by anonymous "Gas Buddy members" - but that's my opinion.

As for "forecast charts", I personally don't think that there's any value in Gas Buddy trying to predict the price of fuel. All that would do is lead to members complaining that "Gas Buddy said the price would be...the price would be going down to.../would be going up to... and I bought gas based on Gas Buddy's wrong forecast and I lost money because...", etc. But to answer your question, no, there are no forecast charts; you do have, however, on the home page, an indicator of whether prices (in your area and nationally) are going up, are stable, or are going down.

There are only regular charts.

Forecast charts? These aren't charts but it is a forecast.
