Is there a way to flag full service stations? I noticed the station down the road from me listed on the 'highest prices' board, and while the price is accurate, it makes no mention anywhere I could see of the fact that it is strictly a full service station. It has been one for as much of my 41 years as I can remember. I don't go there for gas, but my grandmother won't go anywhere else. She knows them, they know her, they clean her windshield, check her oil and tires and fill the gas. To her, that's worth the extra 10 or 15 cents a gallon. I have no problem seeing them on the high board, I'd just like to see the extra service acknowledged as well

Yes, I know that comments are ephemeral, and it won't do a lot of good unless you can get other people in the area to do the same thing. It's just one small step.

I should also have mentioned adding it to the Notes section of the MSL. That's more permanent, but is difficult for anyone to find. Do both -- two small steps.

I agree that this seems like a reasonable item to be added to the set of MSL flags.

There are a lot of things that can be (should be?) added to the MSL as "check boxes", rather than being placed in the "notes" section. Full service is just one.

You know I never thought about it but there are several Shell stations in the area where I live that still do some Full service. But I believe their sign shows the self service price and you only know what the full service price is if you pull up to those pumps.

I agree with both of maxstar's points.

Personally, I think kwzh's suggestion is something of a cop out, given the volatile nature of comments on this site.

I don't think it would hurt to add "Full Service Available" in the MSL as a station feature, in fact I am suprised it is not already there. However the price reported should still reflect the self service cash amount were available.

Considering full service stations are few and far between, kwzh's suggestion is an excellent one.

I suggest you include the text "Full service price" in the comment field of the entry.

Some years ago (before we had a comment field), there was a station down the road that had both self-serve and full-serve areas, with different prices. I chose to treat it as two stations, one being "Texaco" and the other "Texaco Full-Serve".
