Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but I would like to have the ability to speak "4.25" instead of trying to type that in while driving. I pass a few gas stations on my way to work - one of which changes his price sometimes twice a day. It would be nice to push unleaded, premium, etc and speak the numbers in.

You know what is truly sad is I kept thinking I wish I could speak the price instead of typing it and until I read this post didn't even realize that my phone can. I guess thanks for bringing the topic up so that I figured it out.

It looks as though the OP is using an iOS device, unfortunately for some reason Apple has not yet allowed the integration of voice control from the Siri or Dictation apps into third party apps.

To my understanding, there are third party services that can do this but those are reportedly PTU (pay-to-use).

Our main GB iOS developer would love to include voice to text in the app but it seems as though this is a limitation of the OS.

CampKohler: "Java: What phone do you use?"

scoutmaster: "Huh? What does that have to do with this topic CampKohler? "

The phone javaman78 is using has everything to do with the topic since only Android phones have the ability to use voice entry in the GB app. The iPhone and Blackberry apps (and I think Windows Phone app, but I'm not sure) don't have the ability to do voice entry.

This is already available on the Android app and it works exceptionally well.

That ability exists on the Android version of the app. I find it to be more distracting and less efficient than text actually.
